Day 01 :- Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi, the capital city of India. After completing
formalities with customs and immigration, you will be
received by our representative with Traditional Indian
Welcome (with garlands).
Delhi is the capital of India since old times. Delhi's
history dates back to the first millenium BC, when it was
known as Indraprastha. The Tomar Rajputs built Lal Kot, the
core of the first of Delhi's seven cities. It is the
epicenter of the nation's politics, economy and culture.
History is alive and throbbing in Delhi, the capital of
India.
Afterwards transfer to your hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 02 :- Delhi
After breakfast embark on sightseeing trip of Delhi City
which would include the visit to Old Delhi and New Delhi
Old Delhi : An ancient walled city. Here you would see the
Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal
Empire, Rajghat the Samadhi of our Father of Nation, Jama
Masjid the largest mosque in India and Chandni Chowk the
bustling and colourful market of the old city.
New Delhi : The city designed and built by the British in
the 1920’s- a city of wide boulevards impressive Government
Buildings, green parks and gardens. First you will visit the
two monuments from the Delhi’s past Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab
Minar. Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial
avenue, Rajpath, past the Imposing India Gate and Parliament
House.
After completing the sightseeing return back to the Hotel.

Day 03 :- Delhi-
Indore (Flight)-Mandu (77 Kms, 02 Hrs by surface)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the
airport to board Indore flight. On arrival you are met and
assisted by our local representative and then drive to Mandu
via Omkareshwar.
Omkareshwar is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of
Shiva. The river Narmada splits into two and forms an island
Mandhata or Shivapuri in the center. The shape of the island
resembles that of the visual representation of the Omkara
sound, Om. Here we will visit the temple of Shri Omkar
Mandhata, the Siddnath Temple and a group of Hindu and Jain
temples belonging to the 10th century.
Resume drive to Mandu (22Kms from Omkareshwar). Perched
along the Vindhya ranges at an altitude of 2,000 feet and
with its natural defenses was originally the fort capital of
the Parmar rulers of Malwa. Each of Mandu's structures is an
architectural gem. On arrival check-in at the hotel, rest of
the day is at leisure.

Day 04 :- Chennai /
Trichy
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of the
city.
Inspired by the great mosque of Damascus, the “Jami Masjid”
was conceived on a grand scale, with a high plinth and a
huge domed porch projecting in the centre, we then visit
“Hoshang Shah's Tomb” - India's first marble edifice, it is
one of the most refined examples of Afghan architecture.
Afternoon visit, the Darwazas - The 45 km parapet of walls that encircle
Mandu are punctuated by 12 gateways. Most notable of these
is Delhi Darwaza. Later visit to
“Roopmati's Pavilion” and “RewaKund”. The pavilion was
originally built as an army observation post. From its
hilltop perch, this graceful structure with its two
pavilions was a retreat of the lovely queen from where she
could see Baz Bahadur's palace and the Narmada flowing.

Day 05 :-
Mandu-Ujjain (120 Kms, 03 Hrs by surface)-Bhopal (65 Kms, 01
½ Hrs by surface)
Morning depart for Bhopal enroute visiting Ujjain.
Ujjain is a historic capital of Central India in Madhya
Pradesh. Ujjain is also home to the “Kumbha Mela”, when
Jupiter resides in the zodiac sign of Scorpio. Here visit
“Mahakaleshwar Temple” of Lord Shiva with its lingam is one
of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The temple has an idol of
Omkareshwara Shiva consecrated in the sanctum above the
Mahakal Shrine. The temple also has images of Ganesh,
Parvati, Kartikeya and Shiva's Bull, Nandi. Other important
places include Bade Ganeshji ka Mandir, Chintamani Ganesh
temple, Bhartrihari Caves, Harsiddhi Temple, Kal B hairava,
17th century observatory, Vikram Kirti Mandir, Gopal Mandir
and Navagraha Mandir
Resume drive to Bhopal. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 06 :- Trichy /
Madurai
After breakfast embark on full day excursion visit to Sanchi,
Udaigiri and Vidisha.
“Sanchi” is a serene hill crowned by a group of stupas,
monasteries, temples and pillars dating from 3rd century BC
to 12th century AD. The Buddha is not represented through
figures at Sanchi but through symbols, as was the tradition
in the early period of Buddhism. The lotus represents the
Buddha's birth, the tree signifies his enlightenment and the
wheel represents his nirvana or salvation. Cut into the
sandstone hill six km from Vidisha and 3 km from Sanchi are
a group of rock-cut cave sanctuaries – “
Udaigiri caves”. Traces of some ancient buildings were also
found here, at this archaeologically important site of
antiquity between the rivers Bes and Betwa. The caves are
mostly small chambers, enshrining idols or images of various
dynasties carved into the rock of the hill. The caves and
the other remains found at the site show that the site has
passed through the influence of Buddhism, Jainism and
Hinduism in those days.
Later visit to Vidisha or Besnagar as it is called in the
pali sculptures which contains some remarkable antiquates
that throw light on the considerable architectural
development of the period.

Day 07 :- Bhopal-Umaria
(Overnight Express train)
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Bhimbetka, it
lies 46 kms South of Bhopal. In this rocky terrain of dense
forest and craggy cliffs, over 600 rock shelters belonging
to the Neolithic age were recently discovered. Here in vivid
panoramic detail, paintings in over 500 caves depict the
life of the pre-historic cave-dwellers. Executed mainly in
red and white with the occasional use of green and yellow,
the scenes usually depict hunting, dancing, music, horse and
elephant riders, animals fighting, honey collection,
decoration of bodies, disguises, masking and household
scenes. Popular religious and ritual symbols also occur
frequently.
Return to Bhopal. Evening you will be met and assisted while
checking-out and transferred to the railway station to board
overnight train for Umaria.

Day 08 :- Arrive
Umaria-Bandhavgarh (32 Kms, 01 Hr by surface)
After arrival at 1040 hrs in Umaria you will be met,
assisted and transferred from railway station to your hotel
at Bandhavgarh.
Post Lunch, enjoy bird watching and a walk to visit the
ancient “Bandhavgarh Fort”, located on a plateau and can be
reached after a steep climb. The fort is now in ruins, its
monuments and tanks being gradually reclaimed by the forest
thus providing additional shelter for wildlife.

Day 09 :-
Bandhavgarh
Bandhavgarh lies in the heart of Madhya Pradesh -
traditional tiger country. This is where Rudyard Ki pling
found inspiration for his famous Jungle Book.
Once the hunting preserve of the Maharajas of Rewa, where an
alarming number of tigers were hunted down in
pre-independence India. Today, the Bandhavgarh National Park
is a compact reserve (448 sq. km) of sal trees, bamboo
thickets and grasslands, teeming with birds and animals and
the highest population of tigers anywhere in India. The park
is now home to 22 species of wildlife, including the regal
‘gaur’, umpteen varieties of deer and carnivores such as the
striped hyena, jungle cat and sloth bear and over 250
species of birds. Within the park is the Bandhavgarh Fort
now in ruins and largely overrun by the surrounding forest.

Today, enjoy early morning and evening game viewing (Explore
the Jungle on Elephant back / Jeeps).

Day 10 :-
Bandhavgarh-Khajuraho (280 Kms, 06 Hrs by surface)
After breakfast depart for Khajuraho. On arrival check-into
the hotel
In the afternoon enjoy a visit to the Khajuraho temples
(World Heritage site). The epochal creations are an
unsurpassed Indian contribution to human civilization.
These temples completed a thousand years of their existence
in 1999. The timeless temples we see today have a unity of
structure. The voluptuous sculptures appear to be celestial
and alive. The main focus is on woman and varying facets of
her life. The temples are clustered in groups in the west,
east and the south. They all have the entrance in their
eastern side. An architectural marvel - the complex of 85
temples were constructed by the Chandela kings. Of them only
22 survive today. A new one was excavated recently. It is
said to be the largest of them all. The temples have sublime
and sensuous sculptures, portraying a journey into eternity.

Day 11 :-
Khajuraho-Gwalior (260 Kms, 07 Hrs by surface)
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel proceed for Orchha
(170 kms). A visit to the “Orchha Palace” is a must. Also
visit the “Fort”, the Raj Mahal and the Cenotaphs. The Raj
Mahal is a fine example of Mughal architecture with typical
stone jali (lattice) work and arches at the entrance. The
Raj Mahal’s facade is simplicity personified with hardly any
ornamental detailing, but the interiors house some splendid
paintings.
Now proceed to Datia, known for its seven-storied palace of
Raja Bir Singh Deo. This structure is a unique example of
17th century Bundela architecture (combination of the Rajput
and Mughal) built in brick and stone. The palace houses some
of the fine Bundela paintings. It was built in 1620. Erected
on a rocky ridge, the Bir Singh Palace has many underground
chambers excavated in the rock but they remain hidden from
view.
After enjoying the visit to Datia resume the drive to
Gwalior (70 kms from here). On arrival you will be met and
assisted at check-in.

Day 12 :- Gwalior
-Agra (By Express train)
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing tour of the city.
“Gwalior Fort” dominates the city and is its most
magnificent monument. A steep road winds upwards to the
Fort, flanked by statues of Jain tirthankaras carved into
the rock face. The magnificent outer walls of the Fort still
stand two miles in length and 35 feet high. Within the fort
are some marvels of medieval architecture. The 15th century
“Gujari Mahal” is a monument depicting the love of Raja
Mansingh Tomar for his Gujar queen, Mrignayani. Also built
by Raja Mansingh is the “Man Mandir Palace” built between
1486 and 1517.
“The Teli ka Mandir” is a 9th century edifice, towering at
100 ft high. This is a Pratihara Vishnu temple of a unique
blending of architectural styles. Later, met and assisted at
checkout and transferred to the railway station to board
train for Agra. On arrival at Agra, you will be met,
assisted and transferred to the hotel.

Day 13 :- In Agra
Agra is the one of the prominent destinations of the World
Tourism map with three heritage monuments - The Taj Mahal,
Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri. It is more just a dacadent city
of graveyards and stones, but it is a vibrant centre of
Culture, Art and Religious philosphies that have enriched
mankind and shaped humen thought over centuries.
Early morning enjoy the
“Sunrise visit to Taj Mahal : Taj Mahal : The 17th Century
master piece named Taj Mahal ,which of course is the most
splendid of all the buildings – perhaps the most perfect
architectural monument of the world. It was built in the
memory of the beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal by one of greatest
king of Mughal Empire Shah Jehan.
After the sightseeing return to the hotel for breakfast.
Afternoon proceed to the sprawling “Agra Fort” on the bank
of the Yamuna River.
Agra Fort: Built primarily as a military establishment by
Emperor Akbar in 1565,the redstone Agra Fort, was partially
converted in to a palace during the tenure of Emperor Shah
Jehan. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar,
many more additions were made by his grandsons. This massive
fort is 2.5 Kms long and is con sidered the predecessor of
the Red Fort of New Delhi.

Day 14 :- Agra-Jaipur
(255 Kms, 06 Hrs by surface)
Agra is the one of the prominent destinations of the World
Tourism map In the Morning after breakfast check-out from
the hotel and depart for Jaipur enroute visiting “Fatehpur
Sikri”.
Fatehpur Sikri: A fascinating ghost town lies little beyond
Agra the deserted Red sandstone city that was built by
Emperor Akbar as his capital. It was a veritable fairy tale
city and its ruins are still in a pristine condition. It is
not hard to imagine what the court life would have been like
in the days of its grandeur. Set like a jewel in a court
yard of pink sandstone is the marble tomb of Saint Salim
Chisti, enclosed by delicately carved marble screens.
Afterwards continue the drive to Jaipur. On arrival in
Jaipur check in to the hotel.
Jaipur, Capital of Rajasthan, also known as 'Pink City' is
surrounded by an ancient 20ft high wall and eight gates.
Situated at a distance of 280 km away from Delhi, today,
Jaipur is the personification of the old order influence the
new. An inherent interest for colour and design penetrated
over stratum of society, and jewelry, crafts and
architecture became objects of fascination equally between
prince and peasant. Jaipur is also the main tourist hub of
Rajasthan tourist circuit. From here you can reach out to
places like Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Pushkar,
and many more such destinations from Jaipur. Jaipur is also
the third corner of the famed Golden Triangle tourist
circuit of India along with Delhi and Agra.

Day 15 :- In Jaipur
After breakfast visit
Amer Fort : 11 Kms from Jaipur- A marvelous example of
Rajput architecture with its terraces and reflected in Matao
lake below. The magnificent old Citadel, a labyrinth of
massive walls and towers, shrouds an exquisite marble
palace, pillared and carved glimmering with a million tiny
mirrors, which creates tanatalising reflection effect. The
ascent to the fort is on a gaily caparisoned elephants.
Afternoon sightseeing of Jaipur City visit the
City Palace Museum : An imposing blend of traditional
Rajasthani and Mughal Art. The museum is resplendent with
its collection of robes of royal princess, carpets an
armoury of old weapons , miniature paintings portraying
court scenes , battle scenes and processions.
Jantar Mantar : (Observartory): Jantar Mantar, built between
1728 and 1734, literally means the ‘instruments for
measuring the harmony of the heavens’. Jai Singh, the brain
behind the grand project, chose stone with marble facing.
This was the biggest of all his observatories and the only
one built of stone. He used it daily, often with his
astronomy gurus Pandit Jagannath and Kewal Ram. In all there
are 17 instruments in the Jantar Mantar complex. The
function of each instrument is rather complex but serves a
particular function where time plays the main theme.
Hawa Mahal : (Palace of Winds) : A five storeyed wonder with
a spectacular pyra midal façade and overhanging windows with
latticed screens, domes and spires.

Day 16 :- Jaipur-
Delhi (250 Kms, 05 Hrs by surface)
Morning at leisure. Free till departure.
Afternoon drive to Delhi and on arrival, transfer to the
