Expect to see wild elephants, tigers, wild boars and many more wild animals, not to mention the many birds that call Corbett National Park their home. The jeep will take you through pre-set routes deep into the jungle for the best sightings.
At the end of the tour, return to the hotel to relax and have your lunch. After lunch, it is time to set out once again for the second leg of your Corbett Weekend Tour. Our destination now is the Garjiya Devi Temple and Corbett Museum.
The Garjiya Devi Temple is a legendary temple perched upon a large flat rock, right in the middle of the Kosi River. At the Corbett Museum, guests can view the hunting equipments and many other personal articles of E. James Corbett, the British-Indian hunter, who first hunted a large number of man-eating tigers and leopards in India and then turned into a conservationist, author and naturalist. It was under his influence that the Jim Corbett National Park was first formed.
Later, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
