Romantic Interludes Tour Packages begins with an arrival in Mumbai. It is the first day of your romantic interlude! Arrive in style at Mumbai, the City of Dreams and Bollywood Romance. A Jetways representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to the world-famous Taj Mahal Hotel in Apollo Bunder, where a Sea view room has been booked for you.
Once at the hotel, enjoy a true Indian traditional style welcome accorded by traditionally dressed ladies. Check in to your room and refresh yourself with a welcome drink while enjoying the exquisite views of the Arabian Sea dotted with ships and fishing boats.
Mumbai, you will soon discover, is a city that never sleeps. It is hard to believe but this sprawling metropolis, where thousands of Indians migrate to fulfil their dreams, stands proudly on land reclaimed from the sea.
No other activities are set for today, leaving you free to relax and enjoy each other’s company in the luxurious environs of the Taj Mahal hotel. You can sign up for optional experiences such as a couple spa sessions; hang out by the poolside or gift your loved one a surprise gift from the exclusive collections on Taj Luxury Shopping Boulevard.
Overnight in Mumbai
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the colourful SHAMIANA, the 24-hour coffee shop on the lobby level. Its international breakfast fare with live counters is sure to set you off to a great start.
After breakfast, head out to explore the many wonders of Mumbai. Begin with a scenic boat ride from the Gateway of India, across the Arabian Sea to the Mumbai Harbour for a tour of the famous Elephanta Caves, rock caves with exquisite sculpturing from the 5th to 8th Centuries.
Return to the Taj Hotel for lunch at Tanjore. Dine on a lavish spread from Indian cuisine, while being serenaded by live sitar music in the background. After lunch, relax a bit before starting out once again to continue the exploratory tour of this grand city – Mumbai. Visit the Gateway of India, across the street, before heading down to Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Jehangir Art Gallery & National Gallery of Modern Art, Hanging Gardens and Marine Drive. The sightseeing tour ends with a drop back at the hotel. Refresh yourself and get dressed for a romantic ride on an elegant horse-drawn carriage, much like the fashionable ladies of 19th Century Europe. The carriage ride (Victoria ride) takes you through Marine Drive.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight in Mumbai
Wake up to a glorious sunny morning. Head down for breakfast and then bidding adieu to Taj Hotel, checkout of the hotel. Proceed to the airport to board the flight to Udaipur, the most romantic city in India and the next destination on your romantic interlude tour package.
Udaipur or The City of Lakes is a mesmerizing landscape of lavish honey-hued palaces, opulent havelis and scenic lakes. The city even has a palace right in the middle of a lake – Lake Pichola, arising out of its watery depths like a swan. This is where you are headed today.
Once a royal palace created for recreation, the Lake Palace is now a Taj Heritage Hotel and your stay in Udaipur will be in this very palace. Once you arrive at Udaipur, a Jetways representative will greet you and escort you to hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Alight from the car at the edge of Lake Pichola, where a boat is waiting to ferry you across to the Lake Palace in the middle of the lake.
Once at the hotel, check in and be escorted to the Grand Royal Suite that has been reserved especially for you. Khush Mahal Suite, tucked away at the back of the palace for maximum privacy, was once the Queen’s Chamber and still features an antique swing and coloured glass panels. Relax, revel in the enchanting ambience of the suite, freshen up and enjoy lunch.
The evening is programmed to enchant you further – enjoy a private sunset cruise around Lake Pichola in the 150-year old royal barge of the House of Mewar – the Gangaur Boat, with resplendently dressed oarsmen at the helm and candlelight to enhance the romantic touch.
Return to the hotel thoroughly enchanted.
Overnight in Udaipur
Wake up to a sunny morning, filtering sunshine through the coloured glasses bringing alive the suite in a kaleidoscope of colours. Enjoy a lavish, leisurely breakfast at Jharoka while enjoying the exquisite views of Lake Pichola and the city on its shores.
After breakfast, explore Udaipur City with a sightseeing tour. A boat will ferry you across the lake to the shores, where an air-conditioned car is waiting, ready to drive you around to the top tourist attractions of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-Bari and then return to the hotel for lunch or dine at any of the fine dining establishments in the main city itself.
No other activities are scheduled for the afternoon, leaving you free to pursue your own plans.
Explore the city more, shop for holiday souvenirs or return to the Lake Pichola, where you can enjoy a heritage walk and learn more about this royal palace; join a miniature painting class or hone your culinary skills with a cooking class; and/or, shop for the best holiday souvenirs that money can buy at the onsite bazaar.
Spend the evening, enjoying your preferred wine or a traditional Hi-tea at the Amritsagar Bar, which is renowned for its fine selection of vintage wines, spirits and cigars. At dinnertime, sample the authentic flavours of the royal cuisine of Mewar, with local ingredients and time-honoured cooking techniques, such as wood-fired stoves at Neel Kamal.
Overnight in Udaipur
After breakfast, checkout from the Lake Palace and proceed to the Udaipur Airport to board the flight to Jodhpur, the next destination on your romantic honeymoon tour.
Jodhpur is known by many names including the Gateway to the Thar for its location right on the edge of the Thar Desert, the Blue City for the sea of blue roofs adorning the area and the Sun City for the abundance of glorious sunshine through the year. Built as the new capital of the state of Marwar in the mid 15th Century AD, the historic city of Jodhpur continues to woo travellers from across the world.
Like other states in Rajasthan, Jodhpur too is home to royal palaces and havelis, which are now heritage palace hotels. You will be staying in one of them – Umaid Bhawan Palace, the royal residence of the Maharajah of Jodhpur and the largest private residence when built. The Maharajah of Jodhpur resides in the palace even today. Although, his section of the palace is cordoned off and not accessible to hotel guests, you can still enjoy the royal treatment offered to royal guests.
Check in to the Royal Suite reserved for you and enjoy the pampering that follows. No activities are scheduled until evening, when you can enjoy a sunset cocktail at the terrace of the Umaid Bhawan Palace, followed by dinner.
Overnight in Jodhpur

The sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city ends with a drop at the Jodhpur airport, in time to board the flight to Jaipur, the next stop on this wonderfully romantic holiday tour of India.
Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan and the Pink City of India, is the place of residence of the Maharajah of Jaipur, who still lives on in his imperial residence with his family. Though not under royal rule anymore, Jaipur retains vestiges of royal rule, with havelis, palaces and architectural landmarks, and a flag atop the royal palace that indicates when the king is in residence.
A Jetways representative will welcome you at the Jaipur Airport and escort you to the Rambagh Palace, the royal residence of the Maharajah of Jaipur in the 1930s. The Prince’s Suite, the former chamber of Prince Jagat Singh – son of Maharani Gayatri Devi, has been booked for you.
Check in to the hotel and revel in the opulence and magnificence of the room.
Relax for a while, freshen up and head down for dinner.
Overnight in Jaipur
Wake up refreshed and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out for a fun-filled excursion to Amber Fort. Ascend the steep ramp on gaily-decorated elephants, just the way the Maharajas of Jaipur and the royal families did hundreds of years back.
After an exploratory tour of the Amer Fort, return to the hotel for lunch. Post lunch, return to Jaipur city to continue your sightseeing. No other activities are set for today, leaving you free to pursue your own plans. Explore the city’s bazaars and shop for holiday souvenirs or return to the hotel and explore the many offerings of this royal palace.
Enjoy a stroll in its gardens hand-in-hand, watching the peacocks strutting about, listening to the music of the bulbul and many other little-seen birds; discover the many secrets of the palace with a heritage walk; and when darkness falls, enjoy a folk dance performance with the other guests, just the way the Maharajah did when in rule. You can enjoy a spa session, a swim in the pool or a shopping extravaganza at the hotel’s shopping arcade.
Overnight in Jaipur
After a royal breakfast, checkout from the hotel and embark on the drive to Agra, with an en-route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, once a glittering imperial capital conceived and built by Emperor Akbar and little more than a ghost town now.
On arrival at Agra, continue on your journey to Hotel ITC Mughal Sheraton, the only hotel in India to get the Aga Khan Award for architectural excellence. Built in true Mughal style the ITC Mughal Sheraton Hotel intertwines Mughal royal opulence with contemporary luxury. Check-in to the rooms booked for you and settle down.

Wake up to the luxurious environs of your room, refreshed and well rested and set out to enjoy a lavish breakfast spread, before making a bee way to the Taj Mahal, the monument of love, a marble marvel and the reason why Agra is so famous on a tourist circuit.

In the evening, return to the lobby, where you can enjoy a leisurely drink at Maikhana, the onsite bar, before setting out for an irresistibly enchanting Night Viewing of Taj Mahal, a viewing in which we can see the magnificent Taj Mahal, more beautiful than ever in the soft glow of the Moon.
Note: Night Viewing of Taj Mahal is available only on Full Moon Nights, except Fridays and during the Month of Ramzan.
Return to the hotel for a lavish dinner at Taj Bano restaurant.
Overnight in Agra
Khajuraho by Road (Approx 175 Km /06 Hours)
Early next morning, checkout from the hotel and proceed to the railway station to board the Shatabdi Express for Jhansi. Enjoy breakfast on board the train.
A Jetways representative will meet you at the Jhansi railway station and escort you on the drive to Khajuraho via Orchha.
Both Orchha and Khajuraho are townships famous for the architectural splendour and exquisite sculptures of their temples.
Enjoy an Orchha sightseeing tour, visiting attractions such as the Orchha Fort complex and Orchha the temple complex in Orchha before continuing the drive to Khajuraho.
On arrival in Khajuraho, continue on to the Hotel Chandela from the Taj Group of hotels for check-in.

Overnight in Khajuraho
After a nice, refreshing night’s sleep, awaken and get ready for the day’s adventures. Head down for breakfast at Rhimjhim, where a lavish buffet is spread for your benefit.

Once you are awake, freshen up, enjoy a nice, hearty breakfast and set out to explore this magnificent city with a sightseeing tour.

Later, get dressed for dinner at BUKHARA, an authentic, award winning restaurant featuring the cuisine from North-West frontier. This restaurant is part of ITC Maurya hotel, another luxury hotel in the Diplomatic Enclave.
Overnight in Delhi
Wake up well rested and hurry down for breakfast; this is the day, we set out for Goa, the ultimate beach destination in India and a popular honeymoon spot. After breakfast, checkout from the Delhi hotel and proceed to the airport to board the flight to Goa.
On arrival at Goa, a Jetways representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel pre-booked for you.

No activities are planned for the day leaving you free to pursue your own plans. Relax and sunbathe at the beach; enjoy a stroll down the beachside, hand-in-hand and enjoy the feel of the gentle waves lapping your feet and the cool breeze ruffle your hair; make sandcastles and let the child in you jump out in fascination.
Alternatively, you can set out to explore Goa. With exquisite little churches and Portuguese architecture, set against the golden sands and the happy go-lucky attitude of the locals, you can never go wrong planning your stay in Goa.

No activities are planned for the day leaving you free to pursue your own plans. Fun and frolic in the sun, by the sea. Sign up for snorkelling and/or scuba diving sessions and discover the wonderful underwater world of corals, marine plants and animals. You can also sign up for adventurous sports such as paragliding, jet skiing and more.

No activities are planned for the day leaving you free to pursue your own plans. Fun and frolic in the sun, by the sea. Visit other Goan beaches, enjoy the yummy seaside snacks and just enjoy. Go on a Dolphin Cruise or visit the Naval Aviation Museum for a piece of Indian aviation history.
Overnight in Goa
The romantic interlude in India has almost ended now. Waken up refreshed and checkout from the Goa hotel after a lavish breakfast. Proceed to the Goa airport to board the flight to Mumbai.
